ARTIST STATEMENT
My name is Susan Johns. My art background is lifelong, I do not remember a time in my life when I was not drawing and painting. I pay particular attention to detail and am therefore my hardest critic. My art has been featured on the cover of magazines and sold in galleries and museums. I sincerely believe our pets are our most precious friends and treasures. I appreciate an opportunity to create heirloom quality, original art on archival paper or canvas, just for you, to honor your very special pet.
HOW IT WORKS
I want to welcome and thank you for your time and interest in my art. Please feel free to email or call me to casually discuss your ideas. I understand if you only have a photo of two. I am a true classic artist, and do not need the perfect photograph to create your custom painting. I will draw reference from any photographs you have (will be returned unharmed or send me photocopies or you can email me them) an assortment of miscellaneous snapshots are best to help me capture the spirt and essence of your subject.

~ any that express the inner personality (the subject at play or rest with loved ones)
When I receive your photos I will call you and we will discuss the details of the art, confirm quotes and scheduling dates. 50% deposit is due to schedule a start date. Completion takes about a month. My booking calender does fill up and quality art takes time,if you have a,' must have delivery day date', please order early! At the time of completion I will send you a photocopy proof of the finished painting,( will tweak the painting at this time if needed, and mail you a revised proof. If you are not satisfied I would refund your deposit money at this time). When you approve, simply, pay me the balance and I will, upon receipt, ship your completed Original Artwork to you.
